Completely amusing!

Last weekend, my family and I were invited to one of our very favorite destinations--Hershey Park!  Located in the beautiful, clean and green town of Hershey, PA, Hershey Park is our very favorite amusement park.  There is so much to see and do in this town!

Saturday, June 4 - Kids Workshop

  The Home Depot's Kids Workshops offer useful projects including the creation of toolboxes, fire trucks and mail organizers, as well as more educational projects, such as a window birdhouse, bughouse or Declaration of Independence frame kit.

The workshops teach children do-it-yourself skills and tool safety, while at the same time helping to instill a sense of accomplishment. Additionally, this fun time allows for quality one-on-one time between adults and children.

In addition to the newly constructed project kit, each child receives a kid-sized orange apron, similar to The Home Depot associates' aprons, and an achievement pin.

Huskies Contender Cheer


The Hunterdon Huskies are proud to announce its new Contender Cheer Program! The Contender program provides children with special needs the opportunity to cheer, participate, and be a member of the team!

Our Huskies Coaches and Junior Coaches will work with Huskies Cheer Contenders to introduce the sport of cheerleading at levels that are appropriate for each participant. For kids, the summer season means a lot of fun in the sun and frosty summer drinks in the rising temperatures. While summer drinks can be concocted in a variety of ways, they are so easy to prepare that even kids can have this as a hobby during their summer vacation. U.S. OPEN Kids


The United States Tennis Association is casting kids 12 or younger (as of September 11, 2011) to sing live at the 2011 U.S. Open. Auditions will be held June 21st from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Apollo Theater, 253 W 125th St., NYC. Kids must be prepared to sing all or a portion of "America the Beautiful" a capella.
