RealD 3D Giveaway
Audiences are in for a treat--The Lion King 3D roars into theatres today for a limited two week engagement! You got to hear of my incredible experience of seeing The Lion King 3D at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood. It was truly magical. I will definitely be taking my family to see it!
When I was at the premiere, I noticed there were lots of children sporting some pretty cool Simba 3D glasses.

Halloween is a little over a month away, which means it will really be here before you know it. Why not get a head start this year, like I did? I decided to check out Costumes4Less.com and see what they had to offer. What I found there was a perfect costume for my oldest son. We found a Horror Warrior costume that is exactly what he wanted. This costume is hooded with a mesh mask face, so he can easily see out and breath, but onlookers can't quite ...

Some mornings, if I plan ahead, I can plan a hot breakfast for them, but most of the time, I rely on cereal to get my boys off to a good start.
General Mills has great cereals and lots of varieties to keep their bellies satisfied and their bodies well nurished. Courtesy of General Mills and MyBlogSpark ...
Bridesmaids has arrived! Tonight I got to throw a bash and enjoy a fun night together with some friends watching this brand new release. I am not a huge fan of chick flicks, but this movie had tons of unexpected laughs and wasn't your typical chick flick, by any means.
To get ready for the screening, I planned the details of the night, including an amazing cake from The Murphy Girl's Sweet Shop. What's a wedding without cake? I loved the flair it added to the night ...

We all know that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and we see the pink ribbons all over, even during the rest of the year. The increased awareness has done wonderful things to reduce the number of women who die from it, through better education in early detection and more effective treatments. However, Childhood Cancer remains a major issue that has only increased in recent years, and unfortunately, hasn’t seen the amount of awareness that other cancers have. You can read more about the very small percentage of cancer ...

The Recess Queen
There is a lot of talk about bullying these days, but how do you find a way to discuss it with your little ones? Try this great book from Scholastic. The Recess Queen by Alexis O'Neill, illustrated by Laura Huliska-Beith, is a clever rhyme about Mean Jean, the Recess Queen. No one dare crosses her path on the playground...that is, until a brave new girl comes to school.
Your kids will really like this book and it is a great way to explore why bullies may be the ...
