Purse shopping is difficult for me. I know that when I go into a store, I normally have something somewhat specific in mind, and very rarely do I find what I am looking for. It would be so much easier to design your own bag! With this in mind, I want you to check out Elemental Threads. This online company is awesome!
Starting with the shape, Elemental Threads offers several bags to pick from: wristlet, totes, clutches, etc. There is a shape and budget for everyone! I was able to design my own straight wristlet, which was fun and easy to do. Next, you select the outside fabric. There are so many choices to pick from, so this is actually the most difficult step in the entire process. Then you can select a fabric for the handle. You can choose a contrasting color or pattern to switch things up. Then, you can choose an entirely different fabric for the inside lining of the purse. I choose a purple for a fun contrast to the black and white pattern I had fabricated for the outside. Moving on, you then can pick the color of zipper and clasps on the purse. Every little detail is one that you personally get to design!
You can preview all the selections before you purchase and the possibilities are virtually endless. It makes you want to design several sizes! I liked how my wristlet looked online, but when it arrived (very quickly, I might add!) I was really pleased with it. It was so fun! The material and design is durable and high quality.
I really like the size of the straight wristlet. The handle is detachable, so you can use it as a clutch or a wristlet. It is the perfect size for make up, wallet, cell phone and keys.
