My typical day is crazy. Some would say maybe I have too much going on, but I know you moms know exactly what I go through each day, because you are going through it, too!
When I wake up, I immediately wake up my four kids, send them to shower, help them with anything they need to get ready, make breakfast, pack lunches, send them out the door, all before 8am. Then, there are dishes, laundry, clean up from breakfast, sweeping, vacuuming, exercising, checking email, phone calls, make beds, shower, get ready for the day, run my errands, unload bags, check voice mail, check email, more laundry, go pick up my kindergartner from the bus, back home, make lunch, homework, more emails, more laundry, etc. Throw in a job, volunteering, and anything else life happens to throw my way and that is my day before 1pm. I don't even want to get into my afternoon because that is when the craziness really sets in with getting the other three home from school, sports, play dates, homework, dinner and the like. It is crazy!
Now I love this life I lead, and I really wouldn't change it for anything. But, by the end of the day, I am exhausted!
