If you like to co-sleep with your newborn, Rest Assured is a must have for you. There is a sturdy metal frame to prevent you from rolling over onto your baby, with mesh sides for good air circulation and to be able to see the baby. There is a Reticulated AirCare™ foam pad for better breath-ability, too, that is washable and removable. A really cool feature is the vibration and soothing sounds that it makes--you have four melodies, a nature sound, a womb sound, and two different speeds that will automatically turn off after 20 minutes. Did I mention there is a nightlight on it?
If you happen to be traveling you can fold it compactly and take it with you, too. Just a great product with your baby's saftey in mind.
The Swaddle Pod is perfect for newborns, as it can recreate the feeling of being in the womb, nice and secure. You can just zip the baby into the comfortable spandex and cotton pod and the baby can still move, as the material is stretchy.
