Since it was my son's birthday party this weekend, we had to find something cool to go along with our theme of video gaming. I am not very creative, well in my mind, maybe, but when it comes to cake making, my skills are rather...lacking.
I found The Murphy Girls Sweet Shop located in Frenchtown and knew they could help me out. Stephanie Haver, owner of The Murphy Girls Sweet Shop (and one of our Macaroni Kid readers!) creates amazing cakes. They are beautiful and she can come up with anything for any occasion. My son loves Batman, so she created a Batman Wii game and console for our cake. It was incredible!
It was a huge hit at our party--the kids were going crazy for it! The cake was delicious and moist, really incredible. The only bad thing about the cake? Having to cut up a masterpiece!
