Anteater Bug Vac

August 19, 2012
We've been having lots of fun this summer with Uncle Milton's National Geographic Wild toys and have one more item to tell you about, the anteater.  National Geographic Wild Anteater Bug Vac  is something my kids love!  I mean, what boys wouldn't love a bug vaccuum?  Just as the name implies, all you have to do is find a bug and suck it up for a closer inspection.  There is a clear chamber inside the anteater's stomach that allows for observation.  Then, when you want to release it, you can let it go back in the wild.

My little ones have spent tons of time outside catching and releasing some wild bugs in our backyard.

You can find the Anteater Bug Vac online, as well as a wide variety of other outdoor items to encourage outdoor play and imagination. My boys have loved exploring and playing outdoors with these toys since they got them!

In addition, Uncle Milton has created a site for kids to learn more and explore online, the National Geographic Explorer Academy.  Here kids can learn about real life expeditions and then use their toys as tools for their own backyard adventures.
