"Anam Cara"
Giveaway!
When I was growing up, I had a very special Irish necklace from my grandmother. I thought of it as my good luck charm and loved wearing it. Over the years, I have misplaced it and was always disappointed that I no longer had it in my possession. Recently perusing the wonderful shops on Etsy, I found a retailer that had a very similar necklace to the one I had growing up, but with a modern twist. Galway Designs offers unique jewelry, including this beautiful hand stamped silver necklace featuring a celtic knot and phrase "anam cara" which means soul mate.
I was lucky enough to receive one of these necklaces from GalwayDesigns to see for myself and instantly fell in love with it. I love the simple and beautiful design, as well as the significance of the phrase. The charm is fastened securely on a silver snake chain and sits perfectly on your chest. I was extremely impressed with the quality of the jewelry and love wearing this necklace. The owner of GalwayDesigns, K.C., was an absolute pleasure to work with, and I would highly recommend the experience to everyone.
You can order your very own necklace or check out her other terrific designs by visiting her site.

I would love to win this necklace. The leprachaun usually leaves a mess for us and turns our mil green, as well as good coins for the kids. We wear green and I make corned beef and cabbage. SInce St. Patrick's Day falls on the weekend, we will be having a special breakfast at the kids' school on Friday. Also, this year we are having my daughter's birthday party on St. Patrick's Day.
Have your say
