Mom Publisher Tammy	04/2/2009 7:58 a.m. EST	Hello, Macaroni Kid Moms!   It is Wednesday, April 2, and although the weather in our area is a little gray and gloomy, the promise of Spring's bounty is in the air. By this weekend, we should have blue, sunny skies and perfect weather for a walk at Spruce Run with the family or a stroll down Main Street, in Clinton. Visit your local small businesses to help them stay afloat during this economic downturn. Whenever you can, stay away from the big "box" chains, and pay a teensey bit more to keep your fellow merchants and neighbors make it through these tough times. Take a look at our most recent newsletter for information on how to "Go Green From the Ground Up," and tips on feeding your family fresh, organic food grown in your own backyard.
