A "Dream" Come True at Dreamweaver Equine Center!

By Julianna Gilleo, Publisher Macaroni Kid Hunterdon, NJ February 16, 2024

As a mom of 3, I am constantly looking for creative places to bring my kids to have a fun time. When I saw that Dreamweaver Equine Center in Ringoes, NJ had classes and enrichment for kids of all ages, I just knew we had to go check it out... and let me tell you, Dreamweaver made my toddler's dreams come true!

The first thing I loved about Dreamweaver, was the pure peacefulness I felt as I pulled up to the stable. The views were breathtaking! There was plenty of parking as well. Of course having an infant and a toddler we had to stop at the restroom prior to our tour (which was amazing because it had a changing table for my 3 month old and a step stool for my toddler) After that, we started our tour with Keara and Kyu. They had so much information about the background of Dreamweaver. They introduced us to some of the horses including Jojo and Alaska who both were enjoying some time outside.

After meeting our horse friends outside, we were greeted by Ali who continued the rest of the tour with us. My 3-year old daughter Grace was feeling very shy, but Ali truly made her feel comfortable. She got down on her level and showed her how to interact with horses. The horse we spent the most of out time with was beautiful Elsa. She is a mini horse who loves dressing up as a unicorn!

Ali brought Grace and Elsa over to the station where the horses are brushed and cared for. She taught Grace how to care for her horse by brushing her hair and talking to her. She explained how to approach her and keep her calm. Grace got to give Elsa a makeover, dress her up like a unicorn, and walk her (which was literally a DREAM come true for Grace)!

Dreamweaver Equine Center offers classes for all ages. The youngest class called "Mare Magic" is for 0-24 months. The class is "Mommy and Me" style and is really great way to promote postpartum health and wellness. There also is a unique class is offered for special needs students on Saturdays. Individual lessons and camps are available.
