The American Heart Association established National Walking Day celebrated annually on the first Wednesday of April. The goal of National Walking Day is to encourage people to be more active throughout the day. Walking can have many health benefits, including reducing the risk of heart disease, improving mental well-being, and maintaining a healthy weight. Help celebrate by walking around Deer Path Park.
